Business line: Indigenous Learning
All public servants have an important role to play in Reconciliation. The learning on Indigenous realities offered at the School allows public servants to discover and understand the shared history of Canada and Indigenous Peoples and its impact on all of our daily lives. The objective is to foster effective working relationships with the various First Nations peoples and Inuit and Métis communities in Canada, and support the development of federal policies and programs that reflect their needs and realities.
What we offer
Indigenous Learning gives public servants access to learning material on the historic and current realities of Indigenous Peoples in Canada, including major historical events, cultures and perspectives.
Programs and series
To foster a culture of reconciliation, the School offers a growing array of courses, events and resources, to increase awareness of historic and current realities of First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Canada, including their long-standing relationship with the Crown.
