About the program
This program supports the Government of Canada's Action Plan for Black Public Servants and was designed in partnership with the Task Force for Black Public Servants.
This program was originally launched in the fall of 2025 and has been extended into the 2026–2027 fiscal year. In 2026–2027, six cohorts of 30 participants each will be offered, supporting up to 300 learners.
This program is delivered virtually by experienced Black facilitators and includes one six-hour session per week over a total of 10 weeks. Separate English and French cohorts are offered for supervisors and managers. Full participation in all sessions is required.
This program is a learning experience equivalent to the existing Manager Development Program but is supplemented by tailored workshops and additional content sponsored by the Task Force for Black Public Servants. It also complements the Treasury Board Mandatory Training Inventory.
