The public service has been in the process of renewal for over a decade, with incremental progress made annually. The COVID-19 pandemic forced public servants to work in a new virtual environment, which proved to be challenging for many. Now, 6 months later, we reflect on how the pandemic may have pushed us to embed Beyond 2020 values in our everyday work.
This event will examine the ways in which the pandemic has positively affected the mindsets and behaviours of public servants. It will showcase firsthand accounts of work supporting the delivery of important services across the government and public during these challenging times.
