Canada in the World for Executives – a special learning event

A solid understanding of global issues is critical to implementing domestic policy. The School has therefore put together a new and timely special event on this topic tailored to the needs of executives in order to assist them in their policy development and implementation initiatives.

Canada in the World for Executives: Exploring Global Shifts is a special half-day learning event that will explore current global shifts and why they matter to Canada. Guest speaker Marie-Lucie Morin will share her experience and observations, and participants are invited to bring current challenges and opportunities to the discussion.

Marie-Lucie Morin’s career of more than 33 years has focused on global issues. She has most recently served as the Executive Director for Canada, Ireland and the Caribbean at the World Bank. She was appointed the National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Canada and was also the Associate Secretary for the Cabinet following her post as the Deputy Minister of International Trade.
