The COVID-19 pandemic and related restrictions have influenced how we effectively manage public servants, their productivity and performance outcomes, in order to better serve Canadians. The easing of these restrictions will continue to influence how the public service achieves results while maintaining a respectful and inclusive workplace.
This event is presented by the Canada School of Public Service, the National Managers' Community and the Office of the Chief Human Resources Officer. Managers and executives will get practical scenarios, tools and tips on how to effectively manage performance through constructive conversations in order to achieve results during the easing of COVID‑19 restrictions. This information is valuable when priorities are constantly shifting, when managers feel pulled between demands of senior leaders and needs of their employees or when the performance appears to be deemed unsatisfactory. A question-and-answer period with performance-management experts will be held after the presentation.
This event is part of the Easing of COVID-19 Restrictions in the Workplace Series.
