Zia Mansoor has dedicated himself to a career of driving transformational impact through ground-breaking innovation and the empowerment of people. With over 17 years of experience, Zia has spent the last 14 at Microsoft in numerous leadership roles working with enterprise and public sector customers to democratize technology and scale digital experiences.
As the Vice President for Microsoft's Worldwide Data and AI Business, Zia and his team are dedicated to empowering customers to become a data-driven organization and embrace a data culture to thrive today and into the future. Valued at over $17B and comprised of Microsoft's Azure Data + Apps, Analytics, AI/Machine Learning and SQL Server products, Zia is responsible for implementing the go-to-market strategy and providing product and sales leadership across the organization.
Prior to this, he led Microsoft Canada's largest team of technical professionals accelerating thecustomer journey to the cloud as the Vice-President of Customer Success. His team helped organizations realize greater potential across all Microsoft commercial solution areas including Modern Workplace, Azure (App Development and Infrastructure, Data and AI), Business Applications and Security. Zia has also held pivotal leadership roles driving the early growth of Microsoft's cloud business including O365 and communication and collaboration solutions.
He currently sits on the Board of Advisors for Unravel Data, a DataOps observability platform,helping their customers maximize and manage data investments. Zia holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Stern School of Business at New York University (NYU).
