The ever-increasing volume, use and sharing of data has stakeholders across sectors calling for industry-wide standardization of data governance. In its 2021 roadmap, the Canadian Data Governance Standardization Collaborative (DGSC) highlights the need for solutions that focus on both operational and strategic requirements.
In this second event in the Data Governance and Standardization Series, participants will hear expert perspectives on key themes of the roadmap, including data quality, trust and ethics. Three use cases will be drawn upon to illustrate the issues in practice: Digital Identity and Open Banking; Community Health Data; and Consumer Empowerment and Safety: Digital Food Supply Chains.
Join this session to explore how standards and conformity assessment can be used not only as regulatory tools, but also as soft laws that protect the health and safety of Canadians while allowing the economy to thrive.
