The New Economy Series
The New Economy Series—a partnership between the Canada School of Public Service and the Centre for International Governance Innovation (CIGI)—is a new learning series that aims to support public servants in navigating the modern economy and in preparing for the ways it will influence day-to-day work.
Events in the series will cover specific topics related to the new economy, including data, foreign direct investment, cybersecurity, privacy, intellectual property, as well as the latest developments on COVID-19 and its effects on the emerging economy. In addition to presenting the features of the new economy, the series will help public servants understand how the economy is changing and how they can best adapt to it.
