Kick off Mental Illness Awareness Week 2020 with powerful, inspiring stories from public service colleagues who overcame adversity to FACE mental illness head-on. This event, a collaboration between the Canada School of Public Service and the Centre of Expertise (CoE) on Mental Health in the Workplace, is designed to raise awareness and end the stigma associated with mental illness. This bilingual session will feature 2 members of the Federal Speakers' Bureau on Healthy Workplaces, who will share their personal stories of courage, hope and resilience in facing mental illness, and how the skills they’ve learned in recovery help them manage their mental health during COVID‑19. A live, virtual Q&A session will follow the main presentations, where participants can submit questions to the panellists.
