For best-selling authors Brené Brown and Simon Sinek, vulnerability is a leadership strength. Showing vulnerability demands courage, and while this may feel counterintuitive to a traditional understanding of leadership, it can build human connection, authenticity and trust.
The Canada School of Public Service welcomes learners to this interactive session to explore the powerful idea of vulnerability in leadership. Participants will:
- examine the realities and myths about vulnerability and strength
- learn the advantages of being vulnerable in a professional work setting
- discover practical ways to embrace vulnerability and develop as a leader
