In support of the Clerk of the Privy Council's January 2021 Call to Action on Anti-Racism, Equity, and Inclusion in the Federal Public Service, Shared Services Canada and the Canada School of Public Service are hosting a panel discussion to commemorate National Indigenous Peoples Day and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, two-spirit and others (LGBTQ2+) Pride Season.
Featuring two-spirit persons and LGBTQ2+ advocates and community members from across Canada, the panel will address the historical role of two-spirit persons among Indigenous Peoples and the reclamation of this identity against the legacy of colonialism in Canada.
Join the event to raise your awareness about the role of two-spirit and LGBTQ2+ Indigenous Peoples in a historical and ongoing storytelling context. Questions will be taken following the panel discussion.
