Description
Getting a post-secondary education is exciting and life-changing, but it is also challenging. Many students juggle academic, financial, and personal demands that can lead to increased stress and mental health issues.
The Mental Health Commission of Canada (MHCC) is currently working with the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) to develop a standard for the psychological health and safety of post-secondary students. The Government of Canada is collaborating on this initiative as many former interns go on to choose a career in the public service.
As part of the Welcoming Event for Students, the Canada School of Public Service is organizing a panel discussion on this important topic. Students are invited to engage with and provide feedback directly to the three key public service leaders who are championing this initiative.
