Description
Public servants at all levels are expected to use and leverage the data available to them when making decisions, designing processes, and interacting with clients and stakeholders. However, to do this successfully, they must recognize and understand data biases.
This event builds upon past discussions to further the conversation on how to identify, prevent and correct data bias, while considering privacy, equity, ethics and security at all times. Speakers will share concrete tips on how to get the most out of your data, while ensuring that the data is used in a way that benefits all citizens.
This event features a panel comprised of experts in diverse fields of data and is moderated by a Government of Canada senior leader.
