Seeing Green: Transitioning to Net-Zero Series

With natural resources accounting for nearly one-fifth of the country's nominal gross domestic product, energy is deeply embedded in the Canadian economy and its public administration. As Canada moves towards its commitment to achieving net-zero emissions by 2050, there remains a pressing need for a thorough understanding of the objectives, characteristics and broader implications of this transition.

This event series presents academic research, panel discussions, and expert insights designed to enhance one's understanding of Canada's energy landscape and its essential role in the transition to a net-zero economy.

Participants will gain foundational knowledge of Canada's commitment to its net-zero emissions plan and into how and why it will undertake this historic economic and energy transition.
