Katarina Cierna began her career in human resources in the private sector before joining the federal public service in 2018. Prior to joining the School, Katarina worked as a manager and human resources business partner.
Katarina has touched on many facets of human resources management, such as talent acquisition, strategic workforce planning, and talent management and development. As a people leader, she applies her knowledge and experience in people management, leadership, coaching, and performance management. She also strives to build and foster a positive team culture in both her clients’ teams and her own.
For Katarina, teaching is an opportunity to share her experience, provide tips, and guide people leaders on their ever-evolving people management journey.
