Nada joined the Canada School of Public Service as an executive faculty member in October 2023. She has over thirty years of experience including several years in the private sector as a consultant. She has held various executive positions within Transport Canada, Natural Resources Canada, the Department of National Defence and the Privy Council Office.
In each department, she advanced key legislative, policy and program initiatives by motivating and empowering healthy, productive and multidisciplinary teams. Nada also has extensive experience building and sustaining relationships with provincial officials and stakeholders on domestic policies and programs as well as with international counterparts on bilateral and multilateral issues. In addition, she has managed high profile, high consequence and time sensitive files and issues. Through this experience, Nada developed a deep understanding of how government works and a profound respect for public service and public servants.
In all positions, Nada built diverse and inclusive teams, recognizing that diversity is a key strength. She believes in empowering people through open and authentic leadership. She focuses on developing people, including through mentoring and coaching.
