Anick Ouellette: I started out in the public sector and worked there for 10 years. Then, in 2001, I had the opportunity to join the Government of Canada's public service and since 2006, I have had the immense privilege of being an executive in the corporate services sectors of various organizations, notably as Assistant Deputy Minister and Chief Financial Officer from 2017 to 2023.
I would like to share with you some tips, strategies, and approaches that have helped me grow and flourish throughout my career. I will use video clips to address certain topics that people often ask me about.
I hope that some of my tips will clarify how to navigate daily life as an executive without any pretension. I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate you on being a manager in the civil service and ultimately contributing to the achievement of its many objectives.
