All employees have a role to play in removing barriers to employment and in helping build an accessible and inclusive federal public service.
This third event in a three-part series will highlight how to create an inclusive, accessible and barrier-free workplace that fosters the retention of people with disabilities within the federal public service. Employees with lived experience and accessibility professionals will share their knowledge, best practices and recommendations on some of the programs and tools available to help create an environment that promotes an increase in retention of employees with disabilities.
A Q&A session will follow the panel discussion.
Advancing Employment Opportunities for People with Disabilities is an event series that focuses on the key stages of the employment journey: recruitment, career advancement and retention. The series is presented in partnership with the Office of Public Service Accessibility and the National Managers' Community.
