The Canada School of Public Service, in collaboration with Justice Canada, presents a 90-minute armchair discussion on the government's adoption of a recognition-based approach in its relations with Indigenous Peoples.
Our guest speakers will focus on the Principles Respecting the Government of Canada's Relationship with Indigenous Peoples and the Attorney General of Canada's Directive on Civil Litigation Involving Indigenous Peoples. They will offer concrete examples of the use of the principles and the directive in seeking creative problem-solving to benefit the government and Indigenous Peoples alike.
