Éric Gagnon is a human resources executive in the federal public service, with over 20 years of experience in strategic and operational roles. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a specialization in human resources management from Université du Québec en Outaouais, and has developed recognized expertise in organizational transformation, integrated HR management, and governance.

As Director of Integrated Human Resources Services at Public Services and Procurement Canada, Éric led decentralized teams providing staffing, classification, and labour relations services. He played a key role in implementing large-scale organizational transformations, particularly in complex workforce adjustment contexts at the national level. He also contributed to the design and implementation of integrated service delivery models, including the repatriation and optimization of HR functions.

Throughout his career, Éric has managed large-scale operations, including overseeing major administrative centres and managing significant budgets. He has been closely involved in major initiatives such as pay modernization, the creation of the Pay Centre, and workplace transformation.

In April 2026, Éric became a School faculty member. He chose to take on this role as a concrete way of giving back to the public service by sharing his hands-on expertise and best practices with colleagues across the country. For him, teaching is a direct way to contribute the development of the next generation and continuously improve the quality of public services.
