Eric Saint-Onge became a full-time faculty member in 2025 after having served as a visiting faculty member in previous years. Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to supporting management and employees in developing their skills, with the goal of helping make the public service an employer of choice.
Eric has over 27 years of experience in the public service, mainly in the management of various human resources programs, including more than 10 years as an executive. Although most of his tenure was spent at Environment and Climate Change Canada, Eric has also worked at Transport Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada. His responsibilities have included many enabling functions—for example, human resources, finance and real property—in operational departments. He specializes in labour relations, health and safety, and disability management. Eric is recognized for his leadership and enthusiasm and for empowering public servants to work towards a common goal.
