[00:00:00 The text "Unlocking the Potential of Cloud – Availability of Science Data" appears onscreen.]

ALEXANDRE TARDIF (Natural Resources Canada/Ressources naturelles Canada): So, I think there's a lot of opportunity to break down the silos for scientists, like providing collaborative tools and integrated tools within one cloud environment so that scientists and researchers can tap in the vast amount of data that is available and that is more challenging to store locally on their machines.

So, we provide a centralized place where scientists can access the data and push their code and algorithms to run on that data and then they can also do analysis.

So, it's providing an integrated cloud environment with the storage, with the compute, with the network capabilities to a community to enable science within the Government of Canada.

[00:01:16 The video chat fades to the CSPS logo.]

[00:01:23 The Government of Canada logo appears and fades to black.]
